1. We believe in the Holy Scriptures, accepting fully the writings of the Old and New Testaments as the very Word of God, verbally inspired in all parts and therefore wholly without error as originally given of God, altogether sufficient in themselves as our only infallible rule of faith and practice (2 Tim. 3:16; Ps. 18:30; 119:160)
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19; Gal. 4:6)
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension, to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (Phil. 2:6,7; Is 7:14, 1 Pet. 2:22,24; 1 Cor. 15:4: Heb. 9:24; 1 Thess. 4:16)
4. We believe in salvation by grace through faith; that salvation is the free gift of God, neither earned or secured in any part or in whole by any virtue or work of man, but received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph. 2:8,9; Rom. 6:23; Acts 16:31)
5. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the security of saints; that all who are truly born again are eternally kept by the power of the Triune God. (Ti. 3:5; John 3:3-7; 10:28; Rom. 8:1)
6. We believe in the Holy Spirit who is the Third person of our Triune God, the divine Agent in creation, revelation, and redemption; that he convicts the world of sin, regenerates, indwells, baptizes, seals, empowers, guides, teaches and sanctifies all who become children of God through Christ. (John 3:6; 14:16,17; Acts 1:8)
7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. They that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (1Thess.4:16,17; I Cor. 15:51,52; Rev 20:4-8,11-15)
8. We believe in the spiritual unity of all true believers. Tragically, however, unbelief in many quarters has developed to the point where apostasy, recognizable and indisputable exists. We believe the child of God is clearly instructed to withdraw from and repudiate such apostasy. We emphatically disavow the position of and are not part of the National Council of Churches and the World Council of Churches. We further state this Fellowship is not in
sympathy with the Neo-Evangelical concept of infiltration, but rather understand that the Scriptures teach that we best honor Christ when we obey His Word and withdraw from movements and organizations that are connected with apostasy. (Rom16:17; 2 Cor. 6:14; John 9-11)
* An amendment to Article III, Section 8 was added on March 14, 1980. It States:
We also declare our belief that the modern charismatic and Pentecostal movements are unbiblical. In teaching followers to seek apostolic sign gift, the movements are divisive and lead people in error. Therefore, we cannot commend or support any propagation of these movements. (1 Cor 14:22; 13:8-13; Mark 16:20; Heb. 2:3,4: John 16:13,14)
